New Product Highlight: Wine Coolers

CDA has a brand new range of wine coolers featuring professional style wooden shelves and dual temperature zones. All of the coolers in the range feature stainless steel framed doors with UV protected toughened glass so light cannot harm the wine and have LED lighting, electronic temperature control and a red temperature display.

FREESTANDING UNDERCOUNTER WINE COOLERS

“Wine coolers have become increasingly popular since many people now prefer to entertain at home rather than going out to restaurants,” commented Marketing Manager Sally Stothard. “The new collection with wooden shelves includes sizes to suit every kitchen and in addition we have a 15cm wide seven bottle cooler with wire shelves that is perfect for a narrow space in between units or at the end of a run.”

Our 15cm wide wine cooler holds seven bottles on six chrome shelves. It has a stylish stainless steel door frame, handle and hinges. The temperature can be set between 5-22 degrees C and clear LED lighting adds the finishing touch.

Our 30cm wide wine cooler has five slide out wooden shelves and a wooden half shelf. It holds 18 bottles. Temperature can be set between 5-22 degrees C and a humidifier prevents corks from drying out – which can damage the wine.

Our 60cm single door wine cooler with five wooden shelves and a half shelf. Dual temperature zones between 5-22 degrees C mean that white can be kept at the top of the storage zone and red in the bottom at different temperatures. The upper zone will hold 16 bottles and the lower zone 30. A humidifier prevents corks from drying out and there is an integral heater so that temperature can be increased quickly if needed.

Our double door undercounter wine cooler will hold 18 bottles in each zone. Temperature can be individually set between 5-22 degrees C in either section – so red can be kept in one and white in the other. As each zone has its own temperature display, it is easy to keep track of the setting. The cooler has humidifiers in both zones.

Success for CDA at London trade show

However it was CDA’s innovative touch screen ovens and concept products that stole the show!

Visitors to the stand were fascinated by CDA’s newest products.

A range of 6 concept ovens were also on display, once again demonstrating CDA’s innovative approach to product development, which no other appliance manufacturer can begin to match!

There were many other new products on show, including our ceramic linear hob, chimney extractors, double ovens and a range of wine coolers with luxury wooden shelves.

CDA takes KBB by storm!

CDA has taken its largest stand ever at KBB, the industry’s main trade exhibition. The stand was the biggest by far in the Kitchens section of the show, and CDA products were also displayed on 6 other stands! Over 30 brand new products were launched, and a number of important product improvements were also introduced at the show.

Kitchen retailers, architects, developers and interior designers were all able to see the vast range of CDA products available in the 2010 range. The show was a launch pad for some 30 new products as well as an opportunity to demonstrate advanced improvements to many products in the level 1 and 2 cooking ranges. New product highlights on the stand were a downdraft extractor, a remote control curved glass extractor, a unique ice maker and chilled water dispenser in a compact format, an extended range of compact cooking appliances, a compact wine cooler, a glass sink and much more. A big surprise at the show was the unveiling of CDA’s innovative range of concept ovens. Six ovens clad in top quality leather took centre stage on the stand, together with an interactive touch screen oven “Sensor” and an oven operated by remote control “Commander”, confirming CDA’s commitment to innovative thinking and future product development.

The show was a great success, buzzing with activity from opening right through to closing time each day. MD Ian Kershaw commented “We were delighted to welcome so many new and existing customers to our stand, and to give them the opportunity to see for themselves the quality and beauty of our products. We had the largest stand of any kitchen appliance brand at the show, which reflects our confidence in our product range and indeed in our expectations of the year to come.”
