It’s important you choose the bowl option that will work best for you and fit your kitchen space. We have options with single deep bowls, bowl and a half, and square bowl designs.
Composite sinks are a great option for people who need their sink to work extremely hard, be resistant to scratches, stains, heat and impact damage. The flexibility of the material also allows for a number of sizes and design features to be created, so there’s something to suit every need.
Design Features That Fit Your Kitchen Style
Special design features like the stainless steel drainer bars on the KG81 sink and KG82 sink demonstrate how something that has a practical function can still be super stylish. These bars are designed for hot pans but also add that extra something to the aesthetics of your kitchen, especially if you have elements of stainless steel elsewhere.
You can choose between the rounded edge designs or the squared-off bowl shapes, depending on your preference and you can pair your sink model with any one of our modern kitchen taps to really complete the look. These sinks lend themselves perfectly to the designer taps in our range with their angular shapes and features.
Due to the colour options available in composite sinks, you can be a little more daring with your kitchen design and they’re perfect for creating a chic monochrome look. Pair a black composite sink with a modern black tap to really give your kitchen that wow factor.
Undermount Composite Sinks
Whether you want an overmount sink with a draining board or an undermount ceramic sink model for a flush, more streamlined arrangement, you can find an option in our composite sink collection. Take a look at our guide to undermount sinks to see what undermount sinks are all about and decide if this is an investment that will work for you.
A Kitchen Sink with Special Powers
Our composite sink models have inbuilt antibacterial properties in their material – making them a particularly hygienic option. They naturally repel and inhibit the reproduction of bacteria, creating a hostile environment in which they can’t multiply and grow. This is great if you have a family and are concerned about creating a hygienic and safe environment for them to grow up in.
Whichever composite model you go for, they are reversible for easy and flexible installation, practical to use, family-friendly and are fitted with our new square design strainer wastes as the perfect finishing touch.
What is a composite material sink?
A composite sink is made of a range of materials combined together. Predominantly, they are made of quartz or granite, but they will also have acrylic, bonding agents and other materials mixed in.
This mix of materials makes sure that composite kitchen sinks are incredibly robust, resistant to chips and cracks and very low maintenance. These sinks are specifically engineered to be the best possible, making them an excellent choice for any kitchen.
For more information about the material used to make composite kitchen sinks, take a look at our composite sink guide.
Are composite sinks hard to keep clean?
Composite kitchen sinks are incredibly easy to keep clean.
Their smooth, durable surface is resistant to most stains, meaning all it takes to keep them sparkling is a regular wipe down with a non-abrasive sponge and some dishwasher liquid. The only dirt that may build up is limescale from hard water. But this can be soaked away with a solution of white vinegar and water, left to soak for up to an hour.
One unique trait of composite sinks is that should you wish to breathe new life into it, it can be buffered and polished to reveal a fresh new surface.
