The Creative World of CDA

In the October/November edition of Ireland’s Kitchen Trade Guide, Marketing Manager at CDA, David Thacker talks about CDA’s reputation for style, innovation and quality and our ability to offer retailers one of the biggest and most diverse selections of appliances available to retailers.

“CDA’s pursuit of improvement means the company is never standing still…[our]collection of built-in and freestanding appliances, sinks and taps is one of the biggest on the market”.

“We have also been concentrating on green issues. All of our refrigeration products are now A+ rated and the laundry range includes A and A+ models. We have also launched new energy saving induction hobs… above all, CDA has the products to meet the challenges of the market and ever increasing customer expectations.”

Compact Appliances Lead The Way

The September issue of Essential Kitchens and Bathrooms Magazine saw our range of compact appliances lead the way for creative design and flexibility in modern kitchen design:

“CDA offers a range of 45cm high ovens, which includes… a steam oven with touch control, compact multi-function oven with pyroclean and a combination microwave”

Sally Stothard, Product Manager at CDA, commented “This is an area where CDA is constantly developing. Compact appliances offer consumers a world of choice and give retailers the opportunity to try out some really creative, inspiring kitchen designs”.

CDA chosen for “Inspiration” makeover

The May issue of Beautiful Kitchens magazine features a “Real Inspiration” kitchen makeover using only CDA appliances. The owners love the minimal design of the CDA induction hob, and the designer used CDA ovens and built-in coffee machine to create a sleek, modern bank of appliances.

The owner commented: “I knew I wanted the look to be sleek, contemporary and more practical. Long before we had the kitchen done, I saw touch screen appliances by CDA at an exhibition. I just knew I had to have them when the time came.”

CDA Wine Cooler in the Ideal Homes Top 10!

Ideal Homes magazine have selected the CDA double door wine cooler as one of their 10 best wine coolers!

Part of a wide range of outstanding wine coolers from CDA, including both freestanding/undercounter and integrated wine coolers. All are compressor driven for reliability and have humidity control to ensure the wine is kept in the best possible conditions. Our popular double door version with 2 zones is perfect for storing red and white wines together. The temperature for each zone can be independently set, at between 5 and 22 degrees centigrade and up to 19 bottles can be stored in each zone.

New Product Highlight: Wine Coolers

CDA has a brand new range of wine coolers featuring professional style wooden shelves and dual temperature zones. All of the coolers in the range feature stainless steel framed doors with UV protected toughened glass so light cannot harm the wine and have LED lighting, electronic temperature control and a red temperature display.

FREESTANDING UNDERCOUNTER WINE COOLERS

“Wine coolers have become increasingly popular since many people now prefer to entertain at home rather than going out to restaurants,” commented Marketing Manager Sally Stothard. “The new collection with wooden shelves includes sizes to suit every kitchen and in addition we have a 15cm wide seven bottle cooler with wire shelves that is perfect for a narrow space in between units or at the end of a run.”

Our 15cm wide wine cooler holds seven bottles on six chrome shelves. It has a stylish stainless steel door frame, handle and hinges. The temperature can be set between 5-22 degrees C and clear LED lighting adds the finishing touch.

Our 30cm wide wine cooler has five slide out wooden shelves and a wooden half shelf. It holds 18 bottles. Temperature can be set between 5-22 degrees C and a humidifier prevents corks from drying out – which can damage the wine.

Our 60cm single door wine cooler with five wooden shelves and a half shelf. Dual temperature zones between 5-22 degrees C mean that white can be kept at the top of the storage zone and red in the bottom at different temperatures. The upper zone will hold 16 bottles and the lower zone 30. A humidifier prevents corks from drying out and there is an integral heater so that temperature can be increased quickly if needed.

Our double door undercounter wine cooler will hold 18 bottles in each zone. Temperature can be individually set between 5-22 degrees C in either section – so red can be kept in one and white in the other. As each zone has its own temperature display, it is easy to keep track of the setting. The cooler has humidifiers in both zones.
