Tips

Shred the chicken and make some wraps like fajitas.

Add a dollop of mango chutney for a fruity twist.

Ingredients

  • 400ml Yoghurt
  • 3 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp Ginger, Grated or Minced
  • 1 tsp Ground Turmeric
  • 1 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 2 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1/4 Cup Minced Coriander
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 Medium Chicken, Spatchcocked (Cut down the backbone)

Directions

  1. In a medium sized bowl combine yogurt, lemon juice, ginger and garlic, along with all herbs and spices. Mix well and coat chicken entirely in this mixture.

    Arrange chicken on a baking sheet.
  2. Cook in the oven running programme S07 for the full cycle, basting occasionally.
  3. Serve the chicken with fresh coriander, basmati rice and a fresh mint yoghurt raita.
