The Role:
Working in the fast paced and dynamic environment of the Quality and Rework Lab, you will be instrumental in handling, assessing and repairing all returned products. You will work with the Quality and Rework Team, Spare Parts Team and the Technical Department to ensure that all necessary paperwork and administration tasks are complete. The role has a number of cross-functional duties and you will also be dealing with other departments such as Aftercare, Sales and the Warehouse.
What you will be doing: You will be responsible for a number of quality control, rework and administration tasks that will include, but not be limited to:
- Process returns paperwork handled by the rework team.
- Perform full quality control inspections on goods-in deliveries
- Perform necessary stock movements in SAP.
- Inspect all returned products and assess action required to rework.
- Repair damaged/faulty products.
- Handle and manage e-mail queries sent to the rework inbox.
- Update and accurately maintain the quality database.
- Record and report salvaged spare parts processed by rework.
- Provide reports and feedback for warehouse damages.
- Assist with goods-in process administration.
- Update and Maintain graded stock records.
- Produce detailed reports for all scrapped appliances.
- Support other areas of the business as required.
How we measure success: Working towards the department KPI’s and overarching business goals, whilst ensuring accuracy of data and meeting departmental deadlines.
Who we are looking for:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good analytical skills
- Strong IT/Systems skills, including MS Excel and SAP
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Experience managing administration and internal communication
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Fork Lift/Reach Truck License preferable
