We’re looking for an Internal Account Executive to support in managing the day-to-day requirements of our largest Major customers, as well as supporting our new and existing accounts in the Contract and Distribution sector.

What You’ll be Doing

You will support the Channel Account Managers by managing the day-to-day requirements of our largest major customers as well as new and existing key accounts in the Contract & Distribution sector. You’ll be assisting in conducting customer negotiations and developing strategic solutions with key accounts to promote our portfolio of brands and products. You’ll also help to develop robust joint business plans and undertake full category analysis to maximise potential return within the customer. To act as the internal liaison between CDA and its key accounts in the UK. To take responsibility for the channels ‘smaller’ customers acting as the main point of contact for these customers. Providing quotes, assisting with queries and resolving issues.

Your day to day will include:

  • Major customer support with Quote creation, stock management, data analysis, problem solving, customer proposals, Customer Care escalations and new product introductions.
  • Creation of joint business plans to drive a proactive agenda with the customer.
  • Build, maintain and secure long-term business relationships with CDA’s key customers.
  • Maximise sales performance of designated accounts.
  • Conduct full category & price point analysis to identify opportunities to maximise profitability by managing product mix.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the sector, keeping up to date with market trends and advising the Channel Head of developments by competitors.
  • Take the necessary action to resolve any problems and queries.
  • Present the CDA value proposition directly to customers.
  • Respond to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner.
  • Manage and take full ownership of the quote pivot. Have weekly progress calls with the Account Managers and ensure information is accurately updated.
  • Present details of the quote bank to the business as and when required

Where You’ll Work

You’ll be based at our head office in Langar on a hybrid basis, in the scenic Nottinghamshire countryside.

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll be:

  • Proactive, motivated and driven.
  • Business focused and aware.
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and presentational.
  • Proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to self-manage own workload to tight deadlines, including balancing, planning and organising multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Experience in an administrative, customer focused role would be advantageous
  • Knowledge and experience in the kitchen appliance industry would be beneficial, though not essential.
