We’re looking for a driven, results-oriented Area Sales Manager to help us grow and strengthen our presence in key market sectors. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our business—creating and developing profitable new and existing sales opportunities while enhancing the customer experience in a way that keeps them coming back.
What You’ll be Doing
- Exceeding targets in turnover, profitability, new customer acquisition, product displays, and other key performance indicators
- Building and managing strong relationships with customers, ensuring seamless communication, issue resolution, and long-term collaboration
- Keeping precise records of quotations, price agreements, and customer correspondence to ensure a smooth sales process
- Representing CDA with confidence—always professional, knowledgeable, and inspiring trust among customers and colleagues
- Developing deep expertise in:
- Our products, processes, and services
- Market changes and emerging opportunities
- Customer activities and competitor trends
- Keeping clients informed about price updates, product enhancements, and changes to our service offering
- Providing valuable insights by proactively sharing market trends and customer feedback
- Forecasting sales activity and communicating strategies effectively within the business
- Making cost-effective and commercially sound decisions to drive profitability
Where You’ll Work
This is a field-based role, covering a defined geographical territory including Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, and parts of Sheffield. You’ll also spend time at our head office in Langar, Nottinghamshire, collaborating with colleagues and contributing to business growth.
Who We’re Looking For
You’re ambitious, self-motivated, and a confident negotiator with a talent for building relationships, generating sales opportunities and closing deals. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage your workload efficiently, and stay adaptable in changing situations. You’ll also have:
- Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and presentational
- A business-focused mindset with the ability to generate sales and drive success
- Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Word and Excel.
