Tips
Shred the chicken and make some wraps like fajitas.
Add a dollop of mango chutney for a fruity twist.
Ingredients
- 400ml Yoghurt
- 3 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tbsp Ginger, Grated or Minced
- 1 tsp Ground Turmeric
- 1 tbsp Chili Powder
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 2 tsp Ground Cumin
- 1/4 Cup Minced Coriander
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1 Medium Chicken, Spatchcocked (Cut down the backbone)
Directions
- In a medium sized bowl combine yogurt, lemon juice, ginger and garlic, along with all herbs and spices. Mix well and coat chicken entirely in this mixture.
Arrange chicken on a baking sheet. - Cook in the oven running programme S07 for the full cycle, basting occasionally.
- Serve the chicken with fresh coriander, basmati rice and a fresh mint yoghurt raita.
